Dr. Shahriyar Yahyavi’s ascent in the field of medicine began at Iran’s prestigious University of Medical Sciences, where he embarked on a transformative journey. Graduating as an MD in 1996, his brilliance shone bright, earning him a place of honor among his peers.
However, Dr. Yahyavi’s commitment to service was not confined to lecture halls and textbooks. He devoted time to serving in the hospitals during his military service, showcasing an unwavering dedication to healing and improving lives.
His journey continued as he pursued a specialization in Otolaryngology, undertaking his residency at the esteemed Amir-Alam hospital. In 2002, he reached the pinnacle of his academic journey, receiving his degree as an otolaryngologist from Tehran University, where he stood first in the entire country – a testament to his exceptional skills and unwavering commitment to excellence.
Dr. Yahyavi’s passion for education and knowledge-sharing led him to become an associate professor and faculty member at the Iran University of Medical Sciences, affiliating with Hazrate-e-Rasool Akram Hospital and Firouzgar Teaching Hospital. It was during this phase that he discovered his true calling – rhinoplasty, or nose job surgery, which became his primary area of focus.
But Dr. Yahyavi’s talents extended beyond rhinoplasty, encompassing a diverse range of maxillofacial procedures, including septoplasty, endoscopic nose and sinus surgery, breathing disorder treatments, otoplasty procedures, eyelid surgery, chin and cheek implant surgeryand dermal filler injections, and facelifts – a comprehensive suite of services designed to help individuals achieve their aesthetic dreams.
His commitment to advancing medical knowledge led him to become a member of the research center of Hazrat-e-Akram Hospital, resulting in numerous publications across various fields. Driven by a thirst for excellence, he sought international education, participating in courses in Austria, Germany, Spain, and the UAE, as well as the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) Conference in Turkey.
